F55 Frankenturbo

Anyone else waiting for this unit? Will make 600 at the tire and cost less than the Pure 800 by a measurable amount. I'm gonna run one with a Dorch S3 and upgraded lpfp for e85 setup.

ita funny cause.thise exact same guys told me on Facebook they weren't gonna have anything that was a worth while upgrade on an ewg n55 lol

when was that? What they have now isn't really worth over 425 whp, but this F55 will be a full on hybrid with cast turbofold so very nice and it comes with a huge custom inlet pipe.

the platform can handle it easily with my big brakes and coilovers. 600 is a sweet spot for the chassis. I'll be thinking of adding a cage and serious rubber on my 19's. Rear subframe bushings and ltd slip will be a must. 90% of the time i'll just be running 95 octane and high 400's at the tire.

Not sure I understand the question's premise.

Are you waiting for the product's release? Is your own decision to wait based on if others are waiting?

Do you work for Shuenk and are trying to spread the word of its development?

yes waiting for release they should be posting pics soon if the turbofold and housings. I don't work for them just follow them and love their VW stuff.

I'd be more worried about the transmission (manual or auto) at anything over 600rwtq...

I'm well aware of the sweet spot without the flat deck. I'll reliably run 600 at the tire for a long time as it will only be set on kill mode 5% of the time. I'll be running 95 oct all the time and save the e85 for special occasions.

I'd be more worried about the transmission (manual or auto) at anything over 600rwtq...
If my 6 speed goes i'll rebuild it and cryogen treat all the gears with carbon fiber syncros. I've been through it all before with my tremec t-56 in my turbo camaro. Almost hope it blows so I can upgrade it.

Iím not sure on this since I donít have a manual, but I heard that thereís no rebuild parts available for the transmission in this platform.

i can see that with everything going pdk. 600 isn't that much power the trans should hold fine with a strong clutch. i'm not gonna drag race the thing. The M cars must share the same manual transmission however?

Has the product been released yet? I remember they were working on an N54 turbo and it went on forever. Im not sure if it ever got released

There's three it seems. The Shuenk supercore ~stage 1+, n55+ looks to be right around PS2 levels, and the F55 is a full frame turbo so BB, Doc race etc. Technically Stage 3. However the Frankenturbo/Shuenk owner hates naming things with "Stages"
