Re-dye it. A Dealership most likely has someone local that comes by to touch up areas like yours. It's not very expensive for a touch up like yours if not covered by warranty. But keep putting your sweaty arm or arm with lotion there, it will happen again. |

A little touch up with ColourLock dye will bring it back to normal. They carry all the OEM BMW colors

Had this exact same thing occur on my center armrest. Found a replacement one on ebay for $125.00...The stealership wanted $399.00 plus tax...

Anyway... look at that photo you posted. That red spot look like the red that's on the peripheral leather.....it is surrounded by thick black discoloration ....try cleaning the area with leather cleaner .. soak it with cleaner and scrub with microfiber slowly. It might be just that.
