Back in a 4... need carbon! - Feb '18 Update

Had a 435d but needed something bigger so added a Range Rover Sport to the mix, realised I was driving it far more than the 4 so I got rid. Missed it massively.

So this left me;

This stayed;

Then my Sales Director got a Range Rover and I suddenly didn't need it all the time.

So this arrived;

I thought the 435d good, the 435i is far better! Sits better due to no X-Drive, sounds lovely, handles so much better on the M Sport suspension and adaptive.

This one seems pretty well spec'd with adaptive suspension and lights, sunroof, pro nav, parking pack, M sport brakes, reverse camera, folding mirrors etc and a few bits I've forgotten about but don't use.

Immediately I'm on the look out for carbon front and rear splitters, side skirts, mirror covers and spoiler along with having already ordered the M Performance Exhaust.

Any other ideas for me? I didn't do any of this sort of thing on any of the others.

Dangerous on the wallet signing up to a forum like this

Probably not going to bother with the interior to be honest.

Black grills, good shout, I do want them but left them off the list for some reason.

I was lead to believe it's not so easy to remap a 435i - ECU out job?

That's true but odb flashing seems to be appearing now. Id go with a tuning box, 10min fit and really good power gains. I have a dtuk one for the 340 and it really flies Now, there are more for the 335 As it's been out longer.

JB4 are widely used in the US, not as common over here though.

Carbon skin.

Think I did read about some reception issues, but Bollix to it, it looks sweet on test fit, and I only ever have Spotify on anyway!

I've ordered the carbon mirror covers, M Performance grills and carbon spoiler and booked windows in for a tint.

Still borking at the cost of the genuine splitter/diffuser/skirt extensions though!

Happy with standard looking exhaust i.e. one each side so would want diffuser with correct gaps. Never really been keen on the quad look.
