NEW PRICING FS--Melbourne Red door ambient light Trim F30

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
4 LED Light Strip Trim (trim only NO LEDs included)

I have 4 Melbourne Red LED strips...these were originally black. They were prepped and painted Melbourne Red and then clear coated.

The paint was purchased from automotivetouchup.com. I have used them many times to paint match and it is always a great match.

These are used pieces and will need to be attached to your door panels. Here is a thread where I did mine so you can get a feel for what needs to be done. In fact, these are the ones I took off my car originally.

$190 Shipped to lower 48 via paypal friends & family or plus fees

Pretty cool. I've always thought about doing mine in alpine white. Any pictures installed?

Edit: Found pictures through your install thread.

Thanks...I love this mod. I notice it every time I get in the car...I think the red looks stunning also.

Here is the blue I did for my car installed...

Wasnt it a bitch to install? Having to take off the door card then remove the thing and then re-glue the ambient light trim?

No, it actually wasn't too bad. The door panels pull off after removing 2 screws. I watched a you tube video once and that's all it took. Reattaching the ambient trim isn't hard, but looks intimidating. Many people reattach them using screws others 2 part epoxy...I chose to plastic weld them, which I think is the easiest method, but I plastic weld fairly often. I think it is a worthwhile mod.

That's actually the easiest part...it just snaps in place inside the trim.
