Yeah I've got the fear that I'd buy them and they'd make the car look tacky..... £400 is a bit too much of an expensive decision if they don't go on my car lol.
Why are you changing from the ACS springs to Eibach?

I am not changing springs, just ordering Eibach spacers

Yes mate. DTUK box is just a quick fix for now.
I'll go to Stan at Ecotune for a proper map done on the RR as he did my A5 and also my old 535d which was producing 395bhp and 580ft/lbs.... still to speak to them but I think that may need to wait as I don't want to affect my warranty.
going to do either back box delete for custom straight through, aftermarket back box or a dual exit back box from a 340i when I can decide which I'm going to go with or is the best option
I would have thought that fitting the ebay intercooler would give you warranty issues as that is pre engine so any problems could be blamed on that..

Yeah possibly so I think I'm probably going to leave it off just now until the warranty is up and it's going for a proper remap.
I'll contact my mate at BMW and find out their stance on it.
Cheers

Bought a fuel additive to start using in my car today as I've read a bit on here about how it helps with longevity of engine life.
Also ordered a dpf cleaner and an injector cleaner which I'm still waiting on and will probably add at different times to eachother.
Car probably doesn't need it yet but I guess it's better to keep on top of things like this and after all prevention is better than cure

Got a dual exit exhaust lined up for my car from a 2017 440i and plan to have this fitted as soon as I can manage to get it booked in to my exhaust guy and also buy the rear diffuser to accommodate it.... Oh yeah and obviously pick it up lol.
I've been told that this will void my BMW manufacturers warranty and just wondering if anyone can shed a little more light on this????
It's my thinking that is a genuine BMW part and shouldn't really affect much since it's only a back box.... Maybe I'm just being niece though

I don't know how much you paid but I used to pay around £15 per 500ml until I spotted this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Millers-O...MAAOSwEOxXPuGD

yes, you're laying out more initially but you're getting 5 litres for the price of 2.5 litres in small bottles.

Yeah I paid £15-ish for 500ml
I'd actually seen that and thought it'd be too much but thinking on it now it's a big saving.
Maybe get that next time round and just top my 500ml bottle up when needed for easier use
Cheers

I can't figure a way to get the stuff into the 500ml bottle. It's very slow as you have to fill up the top then tilt the bottle over to get it to run into the bottom, and repeat. If there's a better way I'd love to know.
I've been using a 125ml Autoglym bottle (I think it was for screen wash), I use a turkey baster to fill it up and dump that in at every fuel fill. It works and the dose is near enough.
I'm certain it made a difference on my Volvo so I'm using it in the BMW as well, if it does no good it certainly won't hurt

currently running my first tank of fuel additive and going to add these next.
A dpf cleaner and an injector cleaner.
not sure if I can put them all in at the same time so I'll probably just do them in separate tanks to be on the safe side.
unless anyone can give some advice on this???

Just done a little bit of coding to my car using my brother in law's icarly.
Changed start up logo to M logo
Alarm beep and indicators on lock
Tyre temperature with pressure.
Think I've got the dvd to play on the move... Forgot to actually check that.
My car already had the door handles light up on reverse and my seatbelt doesn't bing if not plugged in whilst driving (noticed that by accident, not something I would do intentionally). So unsure if the previous owner has had this done.
Going to see what else there is I fancy changing and do some more next time when we have a little more free time.
Well happy with the beep on lock...just shows how the silly little things in life can make you happy haha

just picked up a dual exit back box from a 2017 440i from another forum member.
Has black chrome BMS tips fitted which should go pretty nicely with the black gloss M Performance parts already on my car.
just need to get the rear diffuser now and I can get them fitted.... although... I may just wait until my warranty period is up as I don't want to affect that in any way.
A bit of an afterthought here but I should have probably edited my original post to update it rather than always commenting on my own thread lol

So I'm finally getting round to getting stuff done to the car.
Had Michelin pilot sport 4s fitted, Lowered on AC SCHNITZER springs with spacers front and rear.
Bigger intercooler fitted and booked in to be mapped on the rolling road this Tuesday.
First thing was the tyres getting shot of the P Zero run flats which was a night and day difference in the smoothness and ride comfort of the car. (Wish I'd done this sooner)
I've just had the car in at BMW (where a friend works) to have the springs and intercooler fitted and job was carried out yesterday... unfortunately though im away with work so havent had a chance to drive yet... my mate has driven it though and said it's a lot stiffer and planted on the road now but still a very comfortable and smooth drive.
I'll get some pics uploaded when I can and a little update on my thoughts on handling etc and also difference in performance and power once it's been mapped =D

I am interested to hear more about these ebay intercoolers.

I inspected one side by side with a Wagner one recently and apart from the Wagner stamp, could not tell the difference. They were identical. A giveaway would have been weld quality, but they were the same. Identical weight too.
Wow £400 for a Wagner stamp.....

Same, interested to know if any more power can be expected with an intercooler that's been taken into account with a map.

My tuner says very little difference in power as the current cooler is not a restriction (its the dpf), but there is a significant difference in charge temp cooling which can be felt more in the summer.
