Hi all -
I recently installed a catless VRSF DP on my 335 xDrive. SA said I would hear more sounds coming from it but it almost sounds like a boost leak. I haven't logged anything yet with BM3 but was wondering if anyone has a catless DP who is hearing more "air" coming from the engine. It's like this "TSHHHHH" sound when accelerating and its definitely not the intake. I can differentiate between the two sounds and it only happened after the DP install. Just wondering if it's normal.

Some manufacturers use a turbo muffler to reduce the sound. The catalytic converter on the stock downpipe operates in a similar fashion, so what you're hearing is more turbo noise.
