Hey folks,

After a few years away due to a naughty tree, I’ve finally gotten back into a GT. Just picked up a mineral white 2016 328xi. Hoping “muscle memory” kicks in soon! Such a nice ride. Missed my bimmer and won’t stray again.

Never knew of a brand called lincoln (i live in the UK). Googed mkc. It looks nice anda bit like the new cayenne from the back. I mat recommend the car to my inlaws as they are on the lookout for something like that. What were the drawbacks?

The MKC is a gussied up Ford Escape, aka Ford Kuga, to be avoided even if they did sell them in the UK. Of course, if you don't like your in-laws...

To be fair it was fine and definitely not just a rebadged Escape. Driving it was like being on Soma. All passion removed.

Maybe not rebadged, but they share the same platform. For sure Lincoln is a snooze mobile. If I had to drive an SUV, and it would be under serious protest, that wasn't BMW I'd probably end up in a Mazda. As for BMW, a friend of mine has a V8 X5 that has some very serious balls.
