Does anyone have any experience with getting runtime errors anytime you try to edit the FDL? The error I'm getting is C027, and is a java null pointer exception. Thanks.

Which E-sys and Launcher version are you using?

Does this only occur when you Right Click orange CAFD > EDIT or when you load NCD in FDL-Editor as well?

E-Sys version is 3.28.1 and the launcher is 2.6.2.124.

I've only ever tied right clicking the CAFD files and selecting "edit." Haven't made it to the FDL editor yet, haha.

Edit just redirects you to fdl-editor. You can also just load ncd directly in fdl-editor.

Ok I'll try loading the read CAFD files into the editor and seeing if I can modify them that way.

That should work. But, if not, you could always install E-sys 3.27.1 instead.

Thanks for the suggestion of doing "offline" coding Almaretto. I was able to make all the changes I wanted that way and successfully loaded them to the car.

when I save FA and next click "Edit" I have this error and I can't add and edit FA(VO) equipment car

I can change FDL and edit, coding it's work's but no work edit FA (VO)...

Yes. Use 3.27.1.

I still have questions:
- coding FDL HU_ENTRY I have selected options to show it's software version. It turned out that I have from 26.06.2013r. That's why I would like to update HU_ENTRY now.
CMB_MEDIA I updated with the USB port in the armrest to the last version 1008.
I just found out that I can update ECU's using E-sys. (Before I thought that only Ista could be)
Any ECU's I can updated on a running engine? Only ECU DME can not update on running engine?

- how to check the version of the remaining ECUs? I do not have Ista.
In the E60 versions of the software I saw in Inpa. In F30 after connecting to Inpa, I can not find this information anywhere ...

When car programming is initiated, engine will shut off. There are no ECU's that can be done with it running.

I want change my VIN on CMB_MEDIA because I want activate internet and BMW Life and something went wrong - my wife called to me and started to turn my head back, after the conversation it was all over...
There is no CAFD, how can I fix it?

Make sure you are using E-sys 3.27.1. Use "Detect CAF for Swe" > select desired I-Step > Select Folder > "Code"
