Downpipe question

So i just received my vrsf downpipe from x-ph and i ordered the catless version but the piece i got sent looks like it has a cat on it, just wondering if vrsf changed their catless design or if i got sent the catted on accident. Any help is appreciated. Mods if this isn't allowed or wrong sub forum feel free to delete or move it i couldn't find the correct place to put this.[IMG][/IMG]

Is the pipe hollow (can you see directly through it)?

If so... its catless. If not, it has a cat inside.

I'm cat less and it has that.

Like the person above states the cat would be inside. If it's straight thru it's cat-less

Okay thank you guys it is the catless version. Was just confusing cause on x-ph the pictures some show without it and others had it. Thanks again for the help

FYI, what you are seeing in the image is the flex section. Out of curiosity, are you EWG? They may have revised the DP because i have not seen any for f30 n55 with a flex section like that.

I just ordered one from VRSF as well and I don't have that flex section, also have never seen that before.

I have a 2014 335xi ewg or at least i think havent been able to visibly check but its got a build date of 11/13

Vrsf design was redone for derive models cuz it didn't really fit I believe

Hi OP

The downpipe you received is the 3.5" because im assuming thats the one you ordered.

Under that same product, if you select the 4.0" downpipe you will receive the model below

the catted version looks like this

Oh really? I just looked at my order and it was for the 4" version so i guess im going to have to return this one
