Not in terms of suspension. I'm on coilovers anyhow. More so that the car will not rob you of power on the turns if it thinks you'll slip. Good for the canyons.

Quick update guys. So after digging around, I believe that having SAT and Sports + automatically codes in Launch Control. I'm 100% sure I didn't have LC stock from the factory. After coding in BimmerCode, I checked throughout Esys and found that LC became enabled only after having both SAT and Sports +.

What do you think of LC? Any more effective than brake-boosting?

LC definitely feels a lot better (and safer). When you put it into the Launch mode, the car kind of sits lower than normal, then it revs up and you take off. It does take about 3-5 seconds to actually start after you rev, but it feels fun and just from the feel I would recommend it over brake boosting.

As far as a comparison, the Launch Control feels quicker, but the brake boosting lets you feel more torque. With the Brake Boosting you can determine which RPM to launch at, but with Launch Control it supposedly picks the best RPM. I would 100% recommend trying Launch Control because it isn't a different kind of fun.

Cool deal, I may try it out. I just got a new bluetooth vgate last night since the wifi model I purchased in January won't connect any more...looking forward to throwing SAT on after work

Wow SAT is really nice; there is a considerable difference. Im surprised that all of our cars didnt have this from the factory if its the same hardware

I'm not. BMW loves to milk you for money.
