There are of course, multiple versions of these things, some in the door panels, some in the rear. Every agency has different needs and requirements.

if you just need a place to secure the gun while in bldgs that don't permit CC, get a small lockable steel box and cable it to the underside of your driver's seat frame. If someone happens to break into your car they won't be carrying the tools necessary to cut the cable or open the box. This solution will maybe cost you $40 and you can move it to another vehicle.
