BMW 420i N20 Weird Hesitation at 1500-3000RPM

Hi all, I have a hesitation at partial throttle inbetween 1500 to 3000 RPM. At WOT the car is normal. Here is a datalog of the partial throttle with the hesitation happening.

Not sure if it is a engine issue or a gearbox issue. The hesitation feels like it is a misfire but the car is smooth at idle and the datalogs timing seems right.

However, car has been in a flood while parked recently and only happened afterwards. Currently suspect that there might be water that went in the transmission unless anyone can tell me otherwise.

Thanks in advance.
