Anyone got the lowdown on activation of connected drive?
My car obviously had it active during the first owners time.
How to, how much?
Is it worth having?

The only feature I ever used was the Real Time Traffic information - RTTI

That was quite handy.

So the process is download the MyBMW app from the store.
Register your account & VIN whilst sitting in your car.
The there are a few choices for real time traffic or download latest maps on USB stick .
Not cheap, around $100 to $200 for just 12 months usage.
Payment is made via the app or internet using credit card.
