They have 2 settings, 5000 or 7500 watts. Bought them from a local store (Menards). Currently have them set at 7500 watts and have them turned 1/4 on. Leaves garage around 63-64 degrees. Might adjust down a bit but it sure is nice. My garage is fully insulated and finished so helps retain the heat.

Was bored sitting in my car so I cleaned the alcantara-esque wrap on my steering wheel. It'd gotten a bit grimy and matted, feels much fresher now. Don't have the specific cleaner so I just used some water, a toothbrush, and an old microfiber. Worked well enough.

Nice - yeah when I first moved into this house I painted and fixed up my wife's craft room and then gutted insulated/drywalled the garage. Heat is awesome - wish I had AC too. Maybe in the future. I can sweat, but I can't freeze.

Picked up a new key at the dealership (bought car used and only had one key). Guy said we can squeeze you in and program it. $140. I laughed at him and said, nah I got it. Walked outside and synched it in seconds.

$320 for fob. Extra $52 for keyblade cut. $372.

I had to show my id and registration on Monday when I ordered it. They got it on Wednesday.

Custom muffler delete set-up. Actually sounds a lot nicer on the B48 than many would lead you to believe.

I often get asked if my car came stock like this.

Contis aren't bad if you get the right tire. Extreme Contact Sports are pretty highly rated summer tires, and the Extreme Contact DWSs are some of the best rated A/S tires.
I mean, I couple put on a set of Michelin Defenders and be like, "man, I really gotta get rid of these Michelins. Crap tires."

Only had the car a couple of weeks. Black, sticky gunk leaves a poor first impression about BMW quality (this is my first BMW).
At least it was an easy fix.
Oh, Lord. I just had a horrible thought. If something as simple as a door pull is poorly designed, what chance does my AWD have? Yikes.
I sure hope I'm wrong about that.

Do much research on the car pre-purchase to learn about some pros, cons, possible issues and pitfalls? In said research, have you found much about xDrive being unreliable?
