Research? I was waiting for the Ford dealer to finish my Lightning when I noticed this BMW in the parking lot. I made the classic mistake of asking how much. That was an pure impulse buy. YOLO.

Well I meant the tires i have on, not conti in general. I have the contactsport that came with the oem 437m's, it fishtails too much for me, so i need a different Tyre. I was waiting for them to wear down but I can't tolerate this fishtail anymore lol

I know that's right. This forum is excellent.

On this forum I found the pinout to make a communication cable and the software to communicate with the car. I have a list of things I'm going to code. I've been able to make an modification wish list by reading posts by experienced BMW owners. (chargepipe, catless downpipe, FMIC, tune) OEM reverse camera is on that list too.

It was while reading this forum I discovered that the computer in these cars monitors your driving habits and adjusts your service intervals accordingly - yeah, my Ford doesn't have that.

I've driven Fords all my life, my Lightning is extensively modified - Android touchscreen w/reverse camera, Google nav and bluetooth sync to my phone, 450rwhp, bucket seats w/console, HID headlights, etc, etc. It was while checking out this BMW that I realized I was trying to take that Ford to where this BMW already was.

Yeah, it was from the UK. The leather is glued to the door handle trims and there was no stitching involved.

Stole this idea from a guy on the m2 forums. Bought these straps with metal eyelets from Menards and used them to hold my winter items so they aren't rolling around my interior / trunk. They slip between the OEM plastic plugs.

Does BM3 change the top HP/Torque?

Also, Conti SportContact 6 beat all others for 3 straight years now in the prestigious (and Independent) Autobild 2018 tests. Michelin last won with the MPSS in 2015 prior to the SC6 release.

They are without a doubt the best tires I’ve had in years.

It’s why Audi put them on a number of their cars OEM several years ago.

Lulz maybe just 2015 l was having trouble visualizing it, all l got is the trim panel for the AC that's LED around but lm probably gonna do the brighter lci door trim, digital ihvac, what else is there??But l guess l can go edit my post and say like 1/4 lci Lmao

There are all kind of things, from IHKA3 Climate Control Display, Dashboard Trim pieces, lighted Rear Vent Control, 6WB Digital Dash, chrome trim on seat control, door trim / lights, center console layout, trim on window switches and a few more that are not coming to mind at the moment.

Thanks to the guys on this forum I was able to do a little coding today - I removed that annoying startup legalese in the display and enabled the TPMS psi and temp display. One thing came to light while doing this - I am absolutely, positively going to make a longer cable. I want the ability to sit in my living room and code this car.

My belly is not big enough to sit the laptop on it and it's too big to allow the laptop to sit on my lap. Fooey.
One more thing - turn your headlights off while coding! Don't ask me how I know that...

I'd recommend starting a new thread in the General forum so as not to hijack this one. Include your budget, what you'll be using the car for, what you want out of the car, etc. to get the most useful info. Basically, be a little more specific.
