  • Multiple valve stem finishes available

See the application list for your specific car before you make your choice.

Availability and Pricing:
OEM Colored Valve Stems

These OEM colored valve stems are compatible with OEM BMW TPMS Sensors and with no TPMS sensors at all. They are 43mm in length (identical to OEM), and are finished in colors that complement APEX wheels in any finish.

Silver (For Hyper Silver, Hyper Black, and Race Silver wheels)

Anthracite (For Anthracite wheels)

Black (For Satin Black wheels)

The valve stems are made in Germany and are guaranteed to fit your OEM TPMS sensors. The Anthracite and Black valve caps are metal and have a knurled finish for maximum grip and durability while Silver OEM valve stems come standard with plastic grooved valve caps.

Availability and Pricing:
  • All finishes are free and included when you purchase one of our OEM BMW TPMS Sensors (kit and individual) at the same time. Please specify your color selection at time of purchase.

The application list is available here on our product page. For your 2011 335i e90 M package, you'd use PN 36-10-6-790-054.

If you're getting Anthracite APEX wheels, these gunmetal valve stems are a great complementary addition! They can be used with or without OEM TPMS sensors.

Hi,

I believe my TPMS died couple months ago as the TPMS malfunction light came on and wont reset. I have an 08 E92 Sport package, which TPMS would i need?
Also, After the installation at the wheel shop, do they have to be program at a BMW shop or is there another way to do it more cost effectively?

For an 08 e92, you would use OEM part#:36-23-6-781-847 for the proper TPMS. The TPMS system should be reseted through your car easily, the car's user manual has instructions on how to reset the TPMS for the new sensors, so a visit to a BMW specific shop wouldn't be required.

Sorry we missed this! Please let me know your VIN and we'll be happy to confirm the correct sensors for your car.

Thanks,

I was looking through the fitment guide and have a question if you don't mind. I picked up a used set of 435 rims with winter tires yesterday. The guy said he didn't think the TPMS was compatible. It looks like 2014-2016 435i used 36-10-6-890-964 RDE-017, and 2014-2016 335i used 36-10-6-881-890 RDE-027. If all 4 match on the new set, will it work in my 335 or do I need 4 new TPMS sensors installed in order for it to work correctly?
Thanks in advance!

Those part numbers are correct from what I can see, but our preferred method for advising customers on which sensor they need is to get the last 7 of the VIN and check which part they have using a parts catalog like realoem.
If you want to be sure you can PM us the last 7 digits of your VIN or just load them into realoem.com to check for yourself.

If the wheels have the 36-10-6-890-964 part installed and your car requires the 36-10-6-881-890 sensor, they will not work on your car until you exchange the 4 series sensors for the 890 sensors.

Also, BMW uses 2 different manufacturers for 36-10-6-881-890 and you cannot run a mixed set so make sure you get a full set of 4 if you need to purchase them.

Let us know if you need more info!

Thanks
-Tom

Thanks Tom! Looks like they're not compatible... VIN: NR93997
Oh well, I might just code out the warning for this winter. I regularly check my pressures anyway.
