Do you track this car? Or is this your street setup? For comparison, how's it feel relative to an M3?

Yeah I do track it and it's hard to say how it compares to an F80, definitely firmer than a stock F80 with the sway bars and coilovers.

For anyone attempting to install the M140i/440i LCI Msport front anti roll bar (Part Number - 6792120) on the B48 F30 LCI, you will need to drop the coolant hose to a lower level as shown in the Dinan installation guide.

General setup is:

- Eibach antiroll bars
- KC Design endlinks

This is a good match together, it's really when all components come together that it makes for a consistent setup.
Were you using the stock end links with the HR sways when you experienced your handling issues? Because that could have been the issue as well.

So, did somebody install the M135 front sway bar to his 335 x-drive?
Lancelot did, but said first it's too soft, then corrected saying it's good, finally switching to Eibach. Not sure if he had 6-cyl. though...

From experience of running OEM, H&R and Eibach ARBs the latter provides the best compromise between roll resistance and pliant.

Just my opinion, but I'm very happy with the Eibach units.

Hi

Not front x drive bar, only rear from xdrive m135i (on 6 cyl f30)
It was OK with stock front bar, but cannot comment for xdrive car though.

Sway bars are a headache on those cars, especially considering how difficult they are to change.

I switched to an M550i now with active roll bars, much better

Hi all,
I have been reading this post in great interest.
I have upgraded my suspension to Eibach Prokit springs & Bilstein B8 in my puny 318i It has managed to reduce the float feel but want to improve the cornering .

After reading this post, I am incline towards Eibach's Sway bar.

The next question is will i need to change to adjustable end links as well ?

Thank you .

gdsalepis,

Ic. If just shocks and sway bar, the ride feel maybe different from mine. U intend to use back OE springs ?

I think with standard OE springs, B6 is used.

I am on coilovers right now. I will return to m sport springs and Koni sport or bilstein b8 (these are the recomented for msprt suspension ),that s why i m asking about the ride quality of the b8s . My imperession is that the b8s are stiff for daily driving (i will not track the car)

As someone with an F36 440i with m adaptive suspension, is there an "easy" upgrade that will dramatically reduce body roll? are the anti roll bars with considering in isolation?

anti roll bars on their own would do that, can't say it's easy on F30 platform though as they chose to mount them on the wrong side of the subframes
So you have to drop them to access the roll bars.

Thanks! What are the best options, and how much difference would they make?

I think the best is the eibach set, some prefer the h&r but to me they don't have enough compliance for road use.
