M Sport Steering Retro Fit (Active Blind Spot Detection)
Hello All -
So I have a F30 with base steering wheel, no paddles, but I do have Active Blind Spot Detection so there is a vibration generator in my base steering wheel. I picked up an M Sport Steering wheel with paddles for a great price. Installed it, coded the paddles to work and works great... but I completely forgot about the vibration generator for Active Blind Spot Detection. So now I have a Error Code for Active Blind Spot Detection failing. My question is - can I just buy a M Sport vibration generator for my new wheel and plug it in? or would I have to drill into the new wheel and splice into wires and stuff? thank you!
