Hello everyone
I just bought a luscious 2014 black 420d with red leather....and what seems to be outdated maps. I would appreciate some guidance on how I can get the latest map version and how to upload it. thanks |

You can buy the NEXT file here: https://bimmer-unlock.com/products/b...land-next-2021
You will also need an FSC code for NEXT. You can buy one time or lifetime. https://bimmer-unlock.com/collection...=8242505383993 There is a good "how to" here: |

I have a 2013 F10 520d. Has the MOVE map set, was 2013 maps for Australia.
Went to the BMW dealer - latest on offer was 2017 maps. Most other BMW Aussie map sets now seem to be 2020. While I was happy to get off 2013, it appears that possible BMW will now no longer be offering anything beyond 2017 for MOVE. BMW dealer charged $169 for the update which I though was reasonable. The guy there said their updates come on a case by case basis from BMW in Europe, so that's definitely the latest version he says. That's disappointing - car was bought in mid 2013, and they provide one update in 2017 - and then that's it for the life of the car? Really? If anyone ever hears of a 2020 (or later) version of the MOVE maps for Australia, please let us know here. cheers |

And FYI, BMW map names explained:
CIC narrow screen: MOTION CIC wide screen: PREMIUM NBT narrow screen: MOVE NBT wide screen: NEXT EVO narrow screen: ROUTE EVO wide screen: EVO You can determine what maps you have installed (and therefore what type you need for upgrade) by looking at the map type in the version information. From the map display: Tilt the wheel right, scroll down to the end, click for version information. |

Unsure - i havent' actually installed mine yet, but some of those who have grabbed a copy may have. The last one was 2020 which was 2020-1. This one is 2021 according to the filename so can only assume 2021-1. All i know is it's newer than the 2020-1 one
