Resurrecting this old thread just to say thank you. Brilliant. Got the 3-arm spinner (it's got 2 wheels opposite the hose inlet), short enough to pass under the car, good spray pressure, and inexpensive.

I drove home from Wisconsin just after a big snow system blew through the midwest. The roads were still wet with snow/ice melt and probably the third application of salt.
