Except there will be thick end of 20% off the m340 within a few weeks and nothing off the Porsche much...

Although given GFV / likelihood of equity at the end the Porsche may be cheaper overall...

Agreed. We're just 3 months after the G20 launch and there are already a bunch of pre reg cars at something like £12-15k (without working it out) below list. BMW list prices are pretty meaningless, and there is clearly already more supply than demand. I imagine that a new (or pre reg) well specified M340i will be available for low 40s within 6-9 months and probably below 40k in 1-2 years.

Given that I paid £38.5k for my (£49k list) 335d in 2014, if I could buy an M340i for not much more, I would be happy with that.
