I don't really trust people working on my car

Unless some one knows a very good Bmw mechanic in la area

If so speak up now lol
avus motorsport in glendale is the best bmw mechanic I've seen, it's going to cost more than a regupar indy but well worth it. they saved my a$$ during a pre purchase inspection and found problems the previous owner went through ALOT of trouble to hide

Why are you not using stock plugs? Why has no one recommended this yet?
A Stage 1 tune should run stock plugs.

Every thread I see on here people with issues such as your self, are running different spark plugs.
Go with OEM and it could fix your issues.
I know you are not using MHD, but MHD recommends stock spark plugs.
Changing spark plugs and especially the gap, will fuck with your timing.

I put all 6 brand new stock plugs from the dealer
And started the car and it was perfect idling for about 20 min with no problems
Once I turned it off and turned it back on small misfires started to occur again and sure thing check engine light again so that didn't make a difference

The car starts up perfectly fine
Some times it idles great no check engine light nothing and can idle no problem but once I turn it off and turn it back or I put it on gear that's when I start to feel misfires

And I get a check engine light misfires

Cylinder 1 and 6and another code for p0300

Gotcha!

Are the stock plugs it in it now that it is at the dealer? If not, let them know.

You could have bad injectors, egr system issues, camshaft position sensor or a bad ecu(god damn I hope not!).

Keep us posted please!

Stock plugs for the N55 are not the NGK 97506. I would try the OEM Bosch plugs at stock gap...

Maybe you misread the thread (or maybe I’m just misunderstanding him), but he says he installed stock plugs, when he actually installed NGK 97506 plugs (per the first page). Those are OEM N20 plugs. I am suggesting he try the stock N55 Bosch plugs.

I don't know why you're so deadset on checking and rechecking what you've already done. P0300 could be anything.

Bad MAF
Bad Vacuum leak
Failed/leaking DV
Bad O2 sensor

Try actually troubleshooting your car before just saying everything's new and running more and more logs. How does it run with the MAF disconnected? Have you tried a pressure/smoke test?

The moment the car didn't feel good I stopped doing logs

I stop trying to even drive the car

What I basically did was just put the car back to stock and let my friend at the dealer diagnose it
From there on

I did small diagnose
Like change injectors
Change coil packs
Change spArk plugs on the cylinders it was actually detecting misfires

I'm not no mechanic so I just stopped there and let my friend handle it from there on

Is at the dealer now getting looked at

That is not diagnosing, that is part replacing. Unless you fried the DME or the computer (not sure if they are one in the same as I am new to these cars), then it’s not something that BM3 caused. Obviously if nothing changed between changing all those maps and going back to the stock map, then it isn’t software related but hardware related. I’m sure it isn’t anything major and you’ll have your car back on the road in great running condition soon.

Ok I guess I misread, but I agree with the previous post. The tune is putting more stress on everything, so anything could have failed. You're blaming the tune when you have no idea what caused the issue. Actually you pretty much confirmed it's not the tuning by flashing different maps and still having problems.

Yeah I understand I never at one point send protunning freaks giving them crap

They been actually helpful giving me suggestions
and they still told me to get back at them when I figure out the problem

but it was weird tho cuz once I installed the second map I wasn't even able to do a log when my car just did not like it lol
