Recommendations 340i RWD slight drop

I was looking at the Bilstien B4 tourings and pairing them with H&R Sport Springs. I have a 2016 340i RWD. Just looking for to eliminate fender gap and not get a compressed vertebra disk on the raggedy roads. Anyone have and other recommendations? Thanks!

B4's are cheaply made replacements that are set too stiff. H&R springs are also too stiff. With that combination you are setting yourself up for a much harsher ride.

Definitely go with Eibach springs and Koni Yellows. Replace your stock bump stops with shorter F80 bump stops. See photo.

You may consider me partial because I have a set for sale but I really like my Bilstein B12 kit. It provides the upgraded b8 struts/shocks that are made for lowering springs and the eibach pro springs. The bump stops that everyone always talks about are built in to this model sho you avoid having to buy then separately. Ride height is lowered approx. 1-2 inches and totally changes the boat feeling the stock suspension gives us.

I wouldn't say cheaply made, but they are indeed stiffer compared to oem bmw struts. I think they pair well with eibach springs but because they are stiffer than the oem strut, they wont lower the car as much if used with lowering springs per my experience currently using both the b4s + eibach 05-22s.

If going with the B4's... you'll want to aim for the Sport model since you are lowering a bit. As said above, these are replacement shocks but I wouldnt say junky?

For a better quality damper go with the B6 or B8 depending on desired lowering. They are identical except for the actual length (B8 being slightly shorter obviously).

I personally had B8 with AC Schnitzer springs and really loved the setup. Was definitely firm but not too low at all (pic in garage). This time around, I may go with the B6 and BMW M Sport springs.

I should have clarified my statement. The B4's are cheaply made in that they are about the same level of construction and materials as the BMW stock shocks. Bilstein B6's have a higher lever of design and materials. So the B4 is designed as an OEM replacement, but the B6 is designed as a Bilstein improvement upon stock.

So I just received my Eibachs, Koni yellows, bump stops, and since my car has 81k miles I am changing all the mounts and bolts. Hope to install everything this week, this should be fun!

If you don't mind me asking, when did you order? I ordered mine on June 20th and Im just trying to estimate when I can expect them since both the Konis and the Eibachs are on backorder...

I ordered them from Bimmerworld on 6/25, I received them about 5 days later I just installed them on Wednesday this week. So it took about 7 days for order to delivery.

My shocks came in yesterday. I had to cancel my ECS order for the springs tho. They wanted to push my delivery date to end of August. Luckily I was able to find some in stock at a different vendor. Im hoping to have them next week.

To me the ride quality and feel is on par with the feeling I get when I drive my wife’s 328 M Sport. I love the feel, it feels planted and I am more confident. The stance is wonderful to it looks awesome. Unfortunately the front of my car was damaged by an exploding tire on the freeway so I won’t be able to provide any pics for a week or so.
