Floor mats move around
Well, I don't have a F30, I have an F48.. But that forum is nearly dead. So maybe this is a common issue.... The plastic (OEM) floor-mats don't stay still because they're sitting on the plastic clip.. Any ideas?

There’s no connecting piece that goes through the oem floormat? Even my carpeted ones had a lock. I replaced with some weathertechs for winter and i have llyods for summer. They both came with locking pieces.

Weathertech liners come with hooks that attach to the velcro pads on the floor, the hooks go through holes in the liners. They're actually redundant, the liners fit so precisely that they won't slide around anyway.

I think you have the old hook still attached to the floor. If you twist that is should come out and expose the locking hole.

My F30 has Velcro pads towards the end nearest the seat which bind to the velcro hooks attached to the floor.

Maybe that piece of popcorn is acting like a roller bearing Just kidding...
I don't know anything about F48 but F3x come with removable velcro pads that lock into the floor. You also get them with the set if you buy OEM. They have a deathgrip and my mats won't move even if you try. That being said, if you have floor clips, I'm assuming they are posts which protrude through the holes in the OEM mat? Are your posts broken off and just a plastic pad now? If you don't have holes in your mats, maybe they are not OEM?

Well--F30 OEM all weather mats have velcro underneath, and don't move a bit. Maybe you want to go to Home Depot and get some velcro tape for the bottoms of yours?

That's an idea too. I'm missing 1 pad for each side so they do move a little bit still. velcro would definitely help.
