Welcome. You picked a great car to start your BMW journey.

Your Subaru is a great driver's car. Once you have had a chance to break your 340 in, it would be great to hear your thoughts/comparisons.

All the best!

Thanks all. Everything you see is how the car came from the dealer. I didn't add on anything. I really gravitated to this car due to how well it was spec'd out. I would've done it the same way, so why not get it like that from day 1?

Couple of annoying things though. Driving out of first gear feels weird when I hit the clutch to shift. It's like I'm accelerating and not letting go, but I hit the clutch as the car was still accelerating...like I'm cutting it off while still accelerating if you understand. But I'm really not.

Next, the dash lights and gauge cluster auto dim based on lighting conditions instead of dimming only when headlights come on. My research indicates this can't be disabled without a hack?

As compared to my WRX, this is definitely a shift from sporty (untamed) animal to sporty luxury. I don't think I'm getting on the 340 hard enough Need to find some open roads.

I haven't seen a control to adjust the brightness for the digital cluster. Only saw that you can shut off the modes on the display.

Since you had the WRX you'll really enjoy the X-drive. Especially, in the snow. These things are remarkable.

That’s gorgeous congrats! Was it new or CPo?

You must of really wanted it to trade in your new wrx!!

Was the hologram stock or did you install?

I often think about manual, how does it feel? I wonder if I would kiss not having the awesome auto transmission though

18 340i ZHP

looks just like a car I saw today except the 340i 6MT I saw had ZHP package. I have seen M Performance Power & Sound before but not ZHP. Cannot find any info what the 2018 ZHP consists of. Listed as $6,995 option. Anyone know about the 340i ZHP option?

I've only heard of the option on the 435i (other than the E46, of course):

He said just above that everything you see is how it came from the dealer, so it I would think that it was stock barring the dealer having installed it.

Just noticed the car has brown wood trim on the inside, which is an odd choice given how sporty it is.

Aluminum Hexagon seems like a no-brainier given the other specs on the car.

No track package. Everything (including hologram) came like that straight from the dealer. I was looking for an M sport manual with the executive package. Those are really rare around here. I had to pounce on it.

I picked up an Alpine White ZHP package 2018 340i a little over a week ago. ZHP comes with Black Kidney grilles, M Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler, M Perf CF side mirrors, M Perf Rear Diffuser Black, Limited-Slip Differential, BMW Performance Power and Sound Kit, M Perf CF Exhaust tips.

So I have a ZHP before ZHP existed for the 340i since I had all that installed post purchase.

The cf exhaust tips is part of the mppsk which can also be had with chrome tips with the M logo engraved on it. Does the ZHP also come with the brake kit with red or yellow calipers? Might as well include all the m performance parts as part of the package for less than purchasing separately. Also easier to insure if it is all port installed and included on the sticker as ZHP code.
