Oil filter and change question.

Being proactive, wanting to know what filter you all use? I would use eithr Mann, K&N or Bosch. Also, mine is under warranty for 2 more years, but oil changes seem easy. Would I void my warranty if I change my oil myself, using the approved oil, and a good filter?

i have warranty for 2 more years. I used mann filter. I took pictures of the milage and date of the oil change, and a receipt of the oil i used. it should not void warranty unless they prove the oil change caused whatever drivetrain malfunction. i personally used mobil 1 0w-40. others use castrol, or liqui moly.

I use the Mann filter on both the f30 and e90.

Great. What is the part number for the Mann filter? And I want the one that comes with the O-rings and crush washer. 2015 328i X-Drive.

you should double check, but I think it is HU-816x

buy a kit from fcpeuro...do your oil change, send your recycle back to them and you get a refund...bang bang win win...
