Question 2019 Gran Coupe Rear Fog?

Has anyone enabled their rear fogs or made a DIY for those of us wanting to perform this mod? I saw somewhere that people hacked their US-spec headlamp switches to enable the lights.

I was thinking of going the OEM route and ordering a European-spec switch instead.

I just did this to my car. Google rear fog light activation. There are a few videos showing how to modify your stock switch and also a step by step bimmercode video.

Moving the switch is easy and saves you money on buying a new switch.

Thanks for the link and detailed instructions. After performing this mod, does the rear fog icon illuminate in the instrument cluster?

When the rear fog light is working....you will see an icon illuminated in the instrument cluster.

I had to code this option on my previous F31 when I did the mod...…. but I did NOT have to code anything on my current F25.
