Lets prove a point to the ebay sellers!

Hi

So I bought a spoiler for my car from ebay and after almost a month I received it and it doesnt fit! (well you bought it from ebay you will say..)

The item was listed to fit BMW F36 gran coupe 4 door so at least I knew if something was wrong I could just say well that what the ebay description said

I contacted the seller and he insist that it should fit my car and that I have to push it down to stick haha!

I am confident that it is not for an F36 but for an F32 so what am asking here is there anyone based in 'IG' postcode area so I can meet you and prove a point to the ebay seller?

Thanks in advance

As an eBay seller myself (Not car parts), the customer will always win. You can open a claim through eBay and you will get your money back. The seller even has to fork out the shipping fees.

Anything you buy from ebay that you haven't confirmed will fit by a review from a previous buyer must be assumed to be a pig in a poke. In any event if it doesn't fit follow the ebay procedure to send it back.

Yea why even bother "proving" anything. It doesn't fit and I want my money back. Period.

I used to buy a lot of shit off of ebay but started wanting better quality. I also have had a few bad sales where I lost money or it was just too much of a pain in the ass to deal with the seller. But for the most part I have been treated fairly. You really need to do your due diligence and make sure the part or whatever you are buying is correct for your situation.
I recently bought a carbon fiber trunk spoiler for my f36 that fit fine. I needed extra 3m tape but that was not a big deal. Quality of part was good and shipping was fair.
