F36 Tyre size 19"
Hi! Just ordered new rims for my BMW 420i xdrive 2015. Went to the tyre shop and he told me the rims is to wide and could affect xdrive system. Can i get some advice what should i do to get best fitment to not damage my car and Xdrive system? It’s possible to cancel order, but i can’t find any other rims that is perfect match.
Rims what i ordered is 19x8.5 ET40 19x9.5 ET45 Is it possible to somehow match them not to damage xdrive system and drive smoothly? Should i need also some spacers? Thank you! |

A perfect match is whatever sizes were available as OEM. |

Those rims aren't too wide, I have almost the identical size, but only in 18 inch. My tires are 235/45 18 front and 265/40 18 rear, but my car isn't lowered. Mine fit like a glove. Hint: it's not the width of the rims if you have the correct offset, it is the tires, make sure you plug tire measurements into a tire calculator and make sure you are within a certain percent rolling resistance difference between each other for xDrive. I forget exactly what the difference is but you can do a search on the forum and the answer will pop up. I have xDrive as well and the sizes that I previously mentioned worked out perfectly.
