We bought a Bosch one, its the smaller version 12-35 rather than the longer AHS 45-16.
Ours is mainly for trimming tree and sorting bushes. If you get one, go for two batteries. Not sure they would be any good for longer hedges or big trim jobs. Handy for keeping bush tidy though. |

I ordered the gtech hedge trimmer with extender, I have to say it's pretty shit, the trim bar is too short and it's very under powered. I picked it up to trim a griselinia hedge and it's struggles with the small twigs. On the conifer it's ok to trim the surface growth but you couldn't reshape it if needed. In fact the only thing I think it can cope with it the tiny box wood we have, and it would be ridiculous to use it on that.
It's a shame as the Gtech strimmer is excellent, |
