is coding angel lights to 100% brightness safe?

I recently coded my angel lights to 100% brightness with full headlights. Thinking of stepping back to 50% to avoid overheating or damage when combined with low beam headlights. Anyone has had long term experience with the 100% setting and has there been any side effects? thanks...

Why not? it depends on the Quality of the LED being used inside These DRL.
Obviously the Lifespan of a LED is much more than that of a Halogen.

Just like when an LED tv is set to 100 percent brightness it will shorten the life of the LEDs, you'll never see them when driving so why put them at 100

+1. Glare from oncoming vehicles when on dip beam is a modern malaise. Coding up the brightness of elements that have a wide dispersion is only going to exacerbate the issue.

To answer your query though, it might reduce the life of the elements, but I'd rather think that they will usually last a very long time even at 100%

They're at 100% when you're not using the headlights.... so there is no difference. Code them to be at 100 all the time to be more visible to the other drivers

I have some cracks in the headlight housing which seem to be due to heat from the LEDs being at 100% brightness now

The DRL on the LCI LED lights *must* be at 100% from the factory. Mine are unbelievably bright. I'd actually like to turn them down.
