I agree those lego like turn signals look a bit odd, definitely not OEM like. Personally I prefer these:

I like the look of these more so than the depo headlights, just wondering about the quality and how they will hold up over time.

I mean that's a concern for anything people buy over $300

It's just a risk you take, but for $500 it doesnt sound like a bad deal if one goes bad or has a leak or bulb dies

Would you do that for tail lights? I just bought some LCI ones and want to take care of them. They are OEM. Do you think its necessary?

Thanks

If you get the clear rtv and go around the seam it won't hurt. It'll make sure the seal is watertight

Are you guys aware that some modern head and tail lights are vented?

My last car specifically had vented headlights to prevent condensation.

Im not positive BMW does this or not. Just throwing it out there!

Ugh why did they cheap out on the high beams and not make those into projectors? Half the reason I want to get rid of the stock halogens is because of how ugly reflectors look. The LED turn signals look nice though, I prefer them over stock projector with amber halogen.

update on the headlights. Well they seemed to be holding up pretty good till I tried to adjust the light height. They do not work or they broke upon contact. Now one of my lights are extremely lower than the other.

Damn. Bad news. Thanks for sharing. Keep us posted on what the retailer says/does for you.

Hopefully he realizes other people are considering this product and sends you a replacement ASAP.

Unless you are throwing in the towel and looking for a refund...

Not feeling the chrome ones at all, remind me of something you put on a Honda, the blacked out ones look great tho.

Has anyone given these a try? Nice aggressive look on the DRLs plus Projectors.

Ok...here they are installed. By the way....the job is a total PIA. It wouldn’t be bad except for the two screws underneath the headlight that hold it in place. Anyway...here are pics. Observant folks might notice I also replaced the grills with gloss black ones while I was in there. Some of the pics are before pics. The night shot with lights on are the old halogens. When it gets dark I’ll post some shots of the new headlights. My overall impression is very good. Quality seemed pretty high. We’ll see how they hold up. I paid $525 on eBay.

I attempted to order this first. The website lets you order but later you will be notified they are out of stock (for now).

Have the same type of bumper, Had the same problem with the bumper gap above the middle/left of the driver's side headlight with a different set of headlights. For some reason the aftermarket headlights won't allow the gap to be even on both sides. It bothered me to the point of where I installed the Halogens back. I read that if you get a different bumper all the gaps will be perfect but, I dont have the extra money for another bumper.... Was hoping these lights didn't have that problem with our bumper

I noticed that. It has to be able to be adjusted. I’ll play with it another day.

I spent a day and a half playing with it. You'll notice you cannot adjust the aftermarket headlights like you can the OEM, there's more play on the oem allowing you to adjust them to get the bumper perfect.... let me know if you can though. I gave up after a day and half lol
