Depends what supporting mods and what tuner.
There's an m235i pushing I think 480-490whp and 510wtq if I remember correctly full e85 and custom tune with all supporting mods...on stock turbo, you need to be more clear on what your goals are for more info

That powerband doesn't look anything like a stock turbo.

I don't know anything related to the car other than these screen shots, they claim stock turbo, I don't know if they're a member on the 2 series group or what; but I would also like to see logs on this

Hp and torque cross over at 5252. The fact that this car is hitting peak HP near 6500 instead of 5500rpm are a give away that this isn’t a stock turbo.

I literally do not believe it.

How can you tell what rpm the crossover is at? I see the X axis but no indication as to the range or scale

Since both HP and TQ are on the same scale on the Y axis, hp and torque MUST crossover at 5252RPM. That means each increment on the X axis is likely 500rpm. If you look at the graph again and assume 5000rpm is right before hp/tq crossover, then the next increment is 5500, then 6000 and then the graph cuts off.

Edit: if those units at the bottom were 100RPM increments, it would show over 7000RPM.

There are times when they scale the graphs differently that causes them not to cross at 5252RPM, but you're correct, they do usually cross at that RPM.

I can't say for certain that it's not possible, but I highly doubt it. FWIW, there's been a few people lately claiming "stock turbo" 1/4 mile records on Instagram, when they really aren't stock. Anyone who's followed stock turbo N55's closely knows that when pushed towards its limit, the stock n55 turbo starts running out of steam in the lower 5k RPMs. Yet when they post these record videos you can see them shifting at 6.5-7k RPM

AmuroRay 5w20 wow. Is that inflection point just something inherent to the design of the engine? 6cyl, valve config, vanos? I'm interested to know what's significant about 5252 and how that works.

https://www.motorauthority.com/news/...ss-at-5252-rpm

See above for 5252RPM Hp/Tq crossover point.

The reason the stock n55 setup nose dives so early is simply because the turbo is way beyond its efficiency point.

Honestly, I hate social media, but I hate Instagram the most.

Literally almost all the content is trash, hidden behind videos with no tracker, vague if not downright deceptive descriptions, and often times hidden behind private profiles.
It's garbage.

Its just a conversion factor lol, nothing to do with our specific engine or anything. Its like 2.54 cm per inch.

Until it’s done on a Dynojet with a stock map run on the same day and a properly labeled dyno graph, it didn’t happen.

n55 more power

Hey everyone, just bought a bmw 2015 535i.
Just installed new NGK iridium spark plugs.
car feels kind of sluggish and throttle response is ok
anyone know how to fix that?
also i want to make it sound nice and make it fast
anyone have any good recommendations on what bolt-ons I should start looking at and any tunes like maybe MHD or Jb4?
thank you!

Welcome. The thread you posted in is old. Last post was 2021. Do a search for mod recommendations on here or on google and you will get tons of results. You also didnt need those spark plugs, so i would do some spark plug research while you are at it
