I was wondering if you could get HUD without getting the technology package? I really don't need Navi at all but would love HUD for the "cool" factor lol

Anyone else in the same boat?

No...read the ordering guide (confirmed by my dealer when I ordered HUD)

AFAIK, the partial black panel display with extended information displayed at the bottom only comes with Nav.

You're lucky since you're in Canada. Technology package isn't available in Canada and HUD is a stand-alone option (order code 610).

haha i was leanin toward the opposite ... i was hoping for Nav and partial black panel without having to get HUD
