It's possible for E chassis conversions, all is needed is a CAN2 "translator". Like what is needed for the NBD retrofit into older vehicles.

This is what BMW needs to do. The analog Kia gauges look pretty awful vs. this.

The installed display is original (OEM), assuming it's not photoshopped. My girlfriends 640i has this cluster and it's quite nice. No lag whatsoever.

PS: It's a 6WB cluster

I like analog guages. I hope BMW at least follows Ferrari's lead and keeps the tach analog on future M cars. Probably won't though.

This looks really good, I must say I am a huge fan but the stitching on the steering wheel looks a little messy to be honest.

No this is the Chinese one, the other two are Russia.

My guess is that if the housing does not fit than they removed the cluster face from the housing and put it into an f3x housing. If anyone wants to chip in I will gladly buy the cluster and post a diy

I'm with you. My wife and I test drove an X6 a week ago and our first question was how do you get the analog cluster. We are not really in the market right now, but I would select a different model to stay away from the fully digital dash.

Absolutely agree with you. The instrument cluster in the 3/4 series is very good. Why people on the forum are getting excited about this cheap electronic crap is beyond me. Go buy a Japanese and/or Korean car if you like gimmicky stuff. An analog cluster combined with a HUD is a better solution.

i dont really mind the analog gauges but i do mind the color. they should be rgb and let me pick all of the interior lighting all day long, only reason i would go the lcd route would be to turn everything blue =)

You understand that this is an option in the 5/6/7 series right? These are OEM Parts.
