Service Termination?

Hey all, I just tuned my 2017 F32 430i with BM3
It’s only a stage 1 I’m still under the 50,000 warranty.

I need to get my oil changed and serviced, will they void me? Is it even noticeable for them to check?
I have nothing else done besides that Stage 1 tune.

According to everything i've read, I doubt your SA would flag you (over an oil change) but the new ISTA version will automatically flag you if your car is plugged in.

Even if you flash to stock and lock dme, the second they hook the car up, it will get flagged as tuned. Your warranty is still good. But if anything breaks and they can blame it on the tune, then it’s not covered.

It will get flagged if you tamper with the ECU at all. You'll still get warranty until something breaks. Then good luck.

Yeah, as everyone stated even going back to stock supposedly won't help. It'll only void your power train warranty though. If your AC goes bad etc etc they'll still fix.

We just had Brand new M2 get flagged with a aftermarket flash/tuner i wouldn't risk it. and it was here getting tires and a oil change done. as soon as it gets put on a scanner or anything it will be picked up

Will they not work on my car and do an oil change if I have my car tuned?

They will probably do the oil change. By noting the tune, it would be flagged if any engine related problems come up. For the warranty.
