Have to admit I wouldn't give an F20 a second look if it wasn't for the 6-pot petrol engine and it's just one of the options in my mind. However, at sub-£30k for a good spec car a new M140i is decent value IMO and, if it came to it, I'd be prepared to live with the looks in order to have RWD and a far nicer engine than any of the alternatives!
Ha, I can't really disagree with any of that. It would scratch an itch I guess. I previously had the 135i and although that got hammered on release for its looks the coupe still turns my head now.

The 240i was my first choice this time around but fully specced I couldn't get anywhere near the 340i price wise so just opted for the fall back option of 6 pot RWD goodness.

Great price and comes with all the must have options too including HBA. just a shame you cant add MPPSK to these cars and you also get hit with the £450 a year tax they look very smart in Black Sapphire

I love those 4 hr drives to buy a car that only true car lovers would ever entertain.
I once bought a ST200 from Coatbridge Ford when living in Huddersfield. Made the drive up there 2 weeks running.. One to view and test drive, and the next week to pick it up. Awesome day.
Enjoy.

I drove from Scotland to Blackburn in my mate's mustang to pick up my 440i. It rained all the way there, all the way back, and was a blanket 50mph for two hours. Literally the worst pickup journey ever but that's the North for you

Good work. I keep on threatening to swap out the missus's Volvo with a Fiesta ST
Now you've got to look at the mods you can do to it. I dont think you can MPPSK it because it's so new but you might be able to get some more noise by modding the back box.

A remap will get it from 330 -> 430 ish

Next question. Gentle run in or pcp style bed those piston rings in hard and fast?

A couple months on and I've just ordered a white lip spoiler from the bay.

Springs and spacers next for that OEM+ look

Nice car at a great price. It's a shame they will sting you on the additional car tax for 5 years, but you had a good saving to make up for it.
