M performance BBK install help
2016 f30 328i.. started with the rear got everything off including parking brake shoes to replace the dust shields. Cut new shields according to instructions and for the life of me i couldn't get the new shield to line up with the bolt holes and parking brake slot.. what am I missing? its my DD so I just put it back together and called it off.. any tips would be appreciated.

Sorry you had no responses. Sometimes this place can be irritating. I also believe that no many people have done the BBK install. I had mine done at the dealer due to coding for the new brakes.

Hi there.
Haven't seen your post before now. My shop mentioned something of the same. They decided to leave the old dust shields on and install the rest. So far after 2 years with no issues😊

@anielsen71 yeah and the crazy part of this ordeal was only the rear left was a smaller backing plate the right side I didn't change because there was clearance for the new rotor . but all is well now bbk is in and coded .

The shields were already the bigger size so there was no reason to change them.

Thanks for not posting your solution so no one in the future can gain insight on this project.

go back and check that corner for damage then because all cars had the bigger bearings and thus the larger shield after 2015.
