How often do you go WOT?

Just curious I feel like I do often, probably once every few days at least, if not more depending on what mood I'm in. Also saw another thread like this on another forum. Just wanted to see where I stand with other N20 guys

If I'm driving around and hit the highway I'll give it a good pull to let it breathe. I'd say once a week

I do go fast at times but I am really never in a spot that I feel comfortable going WOT. Plus I have a CDL and a reckless driving ticket is not a good thing.

Fair enough, I understand making sure it's safe before going fast. I'm lucky and live in an area with lots of open roads that are highly tempting, so that probably doesn't help my case. Between living in NJ and going to school in Western PA, it can be hard to restrain myself sometimes lol.

Sometimes it's tough in NYC but do-able . With the BM3 now it picks up so far I have to choose my roads wisely

basically the same. I usually only hit WOT when going on an on ramp. but it doesnt mean I don't hit around 5k or so daily to hear the exhaust note

I think that's the worst part lol. The more mods you do, the more you want to floor it for the sound, the way it pulls and so on, but also the more mods you do the less you want to floor it because you don't want your now fairly high-strung little 4 banger to give up one of those times

man I guess I am not normal, I go full throttle about 20-50% of the time accelerating, depending on mood in city traffic, meaning if I want to accelerate and nobody is in front, I accelerate....

however on highway I may stick it into eco pro and hyper mile it, as there are so many average speed camera here its far to expensive to drive fast on highway

FYI I go though about a gallon of alcohol for 6 gallons of fuel, which confirm it, as meth system provides about 30% of the fuel when active and its only active > 10 PSI of boost.

Well according to this poll you are normal. The majority of people who voted go WOT multiple times per day!

I actually drive my car very gently most of the time keeping my revs below 3k rpms. I hit wot maybe once a week or once every two weeks so nothing compared to you guys that are hitting it a few times a day!

I feel like I do as well, except when I'm going WOT for the fun of it. I can't believe how many people are going WOT multiple times per day!

Every damn morning. The on-ramp I use merges with two other lanes, so my excuse is that I was just trying to get up to speed and merge, officer.

I also have a nice strip of road just outside of work with a nice curve onto the highway that's fun to hit at 80.

Once every day or two days. Same here with the ramp to get on the highway to and from work. I also heel toe and take corners hard to feel the G's every day at fairly high rpms, hey we like to enjoy our hard work 😉.

I commute a very large portion of Orange County every day, on a freeway that is like 6 lanes wide on each side. I regularly hit around 100 to pass people

Any time the opportunity strikes. I open her up through the top of 2nd/3rd at least.

- Merging on the highway
- After traffic behind an accident breaks free
- If I'm in front at a stop light on a bigger road (a lot of roads here have a 50-55mph limit)
- If I run across anything interesting on the highway and they feel like playing

My other car is a 250hp X5, so i use that for putting around town. If I'm driving the F32, I'm going to make sure I have fun.
