No, but I haven't submitted a support ticket on this latest map yet. I want to try the 91 map first, also my car is also scheduled in for fuel pump replacement next week.
If neither of those things work I'm going to check/re-gap plugs and then I'm all out of ideas! |

The boost spikes isn't too dangerous so I wouldn't worry, I had it all the time on PWG V2-V3, it normally does that after you shift.

Just logged some new pulls on the 91 tune. I got my new 93 map from Dzenan so I'll be trying that out next once my LPFP is replaced.

Still got some negative timing and a few knocks here and there. Mostly continuing to post so I can come back to these logs later and compare easily Last edited by the dope steez; 03-28-2018 at 08:23 PM.. |

My car seems to run way less boost than yours and I am on 93? I guessing this has to do with timing. I can't understand why on this platform they don't target boost and the car makes whatbit makes at said boost.
So while I run much less boost but my timing is way higher I wonder who makes more power. |

The funny thing was when I called the service dept, I just said I had a 2013 335i, and the nice young lady said yes you need the recall, when do you want to book it in? Didn't ask for VIN, didn't check if it was done earlier. It was kind of strange I thought, but I'll take it! Quote:
I found this article on timing/knock informative: http://stratifiedauto.com/blog/under...oboost-engine/ |

If you have high timing but low boost, its the same as the above only, you can add more boost to even it out. You want to look for 14-15 psi on 91 octane with 5+ deg timing. And 16psi on 93 octane with 5+ deg timing. Everyone thinks the more boost you run the better, but thats is not the case, you need a good balance between boost and timing. (I would say 30% boost 70% timing in terms of importance) Here's an example with my log on PWG HSTG2 91OCT map v3 http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5a7eeb7fd10b430955a2cf90
