Nothing at all, they just know they can screw people over when they replace their standard discs! |

Has any one looked into the brake for life offer from Llyod Bmw? It was advertised back in May so may not be on offer now. My 335d has just flashed up with 5k to go. I plan on keeping my car for a long time providing it doesn't burst into flames so might be worth it. I have the m sport brakes and the car has only managed 22k before this warning come on. The advert said from £149.

Mintex MDB3764 pads have worked well for my 2015 435d with M Sport (Brembo four pot) blue calipers over 370mm discs.
Bought the pads for ~£35 delivered off eBay and, as BMW suggest renewal after four year, some replacement pins and spring retaining clips for another £10 or so. So far I can't fault the braking, it's more responsive to the initial pedal press than what I would have to believe were the original pads that they replaced. I found the originals had a 'soft' response, that didn't inspire confidence, even with 370mm discs and four pot calipers, most odd. For a balanced review there has been a slight downside of more dust, and the odd squeal, mainly just after washing the car. |

So my 340i is showing low front pad, and confirmed with visual inspection.
Looking to also replace discs at the same time. Any recommendation for front discs and pads? (M Performance brakes) |

I'd also most likely just go with BMW pads. I've never had an issue with them and they are far cheaper than any alternative. (Around £70) |

I bought these.....
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-O...item51febc1add Very good & paired with Pagid pads they are 2 piece and coated & that price is for a pair. They also come from a UK supplier unlike Autodoc who are in Germany. |

Sorry, must have been half asleep when I last posted.
Whats the general review of Textar? Zimmermann are out of stock everywhere. Guess Textar cant be bad. Believe they are OEM to Porsche. |
