Drive quality help
Hi guys
I'm looking for a better drive quality on my 2012 F30 with the standard suspension. I have zero knowledge on cars whatsoever so I'm wondering what I could change or improve to get a softer ride? I'd like the car to feel like an absolute cruiser when in comfort setting. I feel the road a little too much as it is right now. Any ideas fellas? Thanks in advance |

What year, model and mileage do you have? RWD or xDrive? Do you have for instance 18" wheels with 225/45-18 runflat tires or something else? Is this a car that you've had for a while and it's in need of replacement tires, shocks, springs at the moment? Answers to these questions will help me to give you specific recommendations. |

It's a F30 (RWD) from october 2012 with 85.000 miles on the clock. I've replaced my tires during the last 12 months and I went with 16 inch all season tires -> Uniroyal all season expert 2 I got the car when it had 60.000 miles on the clock and I don't think the previous owner replaced the shocks and/or springs. |

Im also interested to hear which components could bring improvements to both comfort and drive quality (even though it seems that improving one deteriorates the other)
My 2015 f31 has the LCI suspension which is a bit different I think. Im at 98.000km with original parts, 16 inch winter set and 17 for summers. Comfort seems to be ok but I feel the car could be a bit more planted and direct. |
