A little while back I had some coding setting changed on my car for some LED lights I had put in my car. In the process some how some of the things I had in my car vanished. One of them was the alarm beeps/chirps when I locked my car while the engine is running. For some reason now, my car doesn't do that. Does anyone know what I need to code back in or change to get that to be back on? I have esys and BimmerCode so I can make the changes but I don't know what to look for. I don't want the horn to beep twice cuz that's what find in the basic settings of BimmerCode, but I don't want that, I want the alarm chirps like it did before? Can anyone help?

Not the horn that I want. It's the beeps from the alarm system. This is the one I tried and it makes the horn honk.

You want the horn when you lock the car and the engine is running or you want the beep when you lock the car?

For the beep when you lock the car...

I want the beep not the horn. My car already beeps when I lock it when the ignition is off, but for some reason it stopped beeping when I press lock when the ignition is on. It used to but it's not anymore after some of my bulbs were coded to led. Trying to figure out why. I'll check those parameters and see if that fixes it.

I thought that was an idrive setting, not a coding setting.

Hate to revive an old thread but I’m having the exact same issue. Did you manage to find a fix? I’ve tried everything on Bimmercode. Didn’t have this issue until I had my car serviced and it updated my software…

They probably wiped that option when they updated the software. I won't let a dealer even get near my car for just this reason.
