Question So anyone tried running a double ECU config

As the title states, im curious if anyone has successfully used 2 ECUs in the car tandem or not. I have an extended warranty on my 335 F30 and want to ecu flash but definitely not trying to narc on myself on warranty days. Seem excessive? not excessive enough? or just another boys pipe dream? if this has already been posted, someone hit me with the link or a baseball bat?

So your idea is to buy an extra ECU and have that tuned, and then switch ECU every time you go to the dealer until warranty expires? Seems expensive and cumbersome to me.

Why not just tune the car and have a warranty that might/might not cover you if something happens? How much is that warranty really worth on a stock car anyway?

I recall coming across a thread a while ago where someone claimed to have taken in a tuned car, had warranty rejected, then brought it back with a new DME and warranty was reinstated.

This was just a hypothetical id rather just save up until my warranty ends then ball out n make actually build my car out.

Pointless because when you flash it's not only stored in the DME but in the gateway, trans module, ABS/stability control, and others. If you want to flash just hold your nose and take the plunge. It's worth it! If you are not ready there is always the JB4 for you to get started with.
