Very nice, surprised it's still available being a rare manual beast. Only one on Autotrader, '14 plate, auto with some nice options and a fair bit less mileage.... I'd rather have yours!

updated with cleaner images, could do with a nice clean out inside. a couple of things to note are that it requires pads all round in the next 4000 miles.

The front passenger alloy is quite curbed, could do with being redone. the passenger rear bumper has a mark or two, but nothing serious.

Plan to take personalised plate off and list on Autotrader Thursday.

Probably a good move. Yours is a decent spec. I keep toying with the idea of an upgrade of my two motors, but I just can't find many good ones about at the right spec, price and condition unless you want go into dirty diesel terretory

Oh my gosh, so I have had three tyre kickers view the car now .

One chap turned up and spent the best part of 90 minutes looking around it etc and then say he was unsure , and then he muttered the immortal words of 'I'm not a time waster'......

I have one more viewing booked for Saturday but to be fair might cancel it as it i just cannot be bothered.

Your advert clearly states everything a potential purchaser needs to know about the car. Nothing hidden.

The only thing left to do it look around it to see that it's not bent. A drive to ensure nothing is obviously wrong with the moving parts. 30mins max.

90mins to then be unsure and walk away. !!?!
Was he discussing issues/price/history with you during this time?

I found out towards the end that he wasn't in a position to buy as he had to sell his two series first. he literally wanted to have a good chat with a fellow BMW owner.
The guy last night was from Kent and had seen several cars, all BMW diesels, he just wanted to view as he was in the area, but when i asked him before he saw it he was like yes it is a real contender etc.
i think because it is an unusual spec it is bringing out people to come and view it, not genuine buyers.

If it's any consolation ( I'm sure it's not), your last service was on my 30th birthday last year.

Only thing I can think of it to put in the advert that you'll need a £100 deposit for viewing?! Any serious buyers won't have issues with that.

Why not just tell them that you have somewhere to be and must leave in 15/30mins. Alternatively, a slightly bum squeeking move, list it as an auction, no reserve. If it doesn't sell on ebay, it won't sell anywhere IMO.

I think you're attracting interest because, 1. It's not a 320d; 2. It's a good spec and; 3. It's not a 320d (thank goodness).

I am going to look at getting the boring grey calliper painted and the front wheel refurbed. Will then probably get 20 percent off a service and get the pads and discs changed.

It's sad to hear that your selling experience has been so bad, there's absolutely nothing wrong with your advert or the car - a quick test drive, a check that your ad matches the real thing and it should be plain sailing - it's not even priced unreasonably for what you're selling.

I'm sure the right buyer will come along soon.
