Oké, guess I’ll try the stage 1 map with the 93 fuel, and the e30 map with some extra ethanol to try and clear corrections up.

Thanks for the reply. I ran another log and realised the fuel pressure was down on what the target was, I flashed the new tune that is suppose to fix that issue and the timing corrections are even worse now. I've contacted them for support, see what they come back with.

Will try to take better and couple more logs soon, but just want to get an initial thoughts.
Just got the car not long ago and got it to stage 2 but I Feel like the car should pull much harder, or maybe I'm expecting too much..

Also when I go in 5th or 6th gear. I feel like the car just feels linear pulling through out the rpm band (it's almost like I don't feel much boost kicking in), is that normal? Or is it suppose to more of a harder pull with boost kicking in like the lower gears..?

32k miles, stock except for tune, spark plugs at 30k

I stay below 3k rpm until oil temps hit 200F but have seen timing delta for knock as low as -2 when getting on it. Just want to make sure everything looks ok with my logs (still pretty new to this).

Hi guys i'm new here, joining from the Netherlands. Just did a 'few' upgrades already to 340i which i got 2 weeks ago
Here are my logs.. 4th gear pulls from about 2000 rpm to 6500 rpm.

2018 340i with MPPSK, Dorch Stage1 hpfp, Wagner catted DP, AFE intake, fresh spark plugs (ngk, gapped standard), fresh coil pack (bmw oem). I'm running the Stage 2 93oct map from BM3. Fuel in these run was BP 98 RON.

note: I had a fuel rail dip just shortly after WOT, which looks fixed now since I installed the dorch hpfp. But it seems there is some adjustment needed in terms of boost.

Hi, Your stage 2 log is ok, some minor corrections but not that bad, i know the dutch fuel is sometimes not that good ( i use 100+ gas station at Aalsmeer ) and that is already much better ( or the 102 Aral , Emmerich )

Yes BP is better, Shell i had bad experience , try 100+ at Loogman Aalsmeer

how noisy is the dorch stage 1? i have mine sitting in the box since february and have yet to install.

Correct, when flashing a tune in e.g. BM3, dont forget to set the hpfp pump type to Dorch stg1 or stg2 in the map 'settings' section (do this before you start the engine after hpfp install).

i know about the option in bm3, i have the map pack on bm3, just have seen posts on the b58 facebook page that makes the dorch st1 sound like a bunch of birds chirping. thought of selling it and maybe just picking up a tu pump, when i upgrade the turbo just going to go PI probably.

The fuel quality in Holland is horrible..
In the N54 days I could manage on shell v power with stage 2 93 map. Now with the B58 timing is struggling on Ron 100+, bp ultimate etc with just the MHD stage 2 91 map. Added 5L of ethanol to half a tank and timing cleared up, so that makes me think we are getting ripped off at the gas stations here these days.

Edit: flashed to stage 2 93 with the added ethanol and the car feels happy and logs look good, no timing corrections, the hpfp is nearly maxed out.

yep same problem, also depends witch 100+ you use, at this moment i,m only using the 100+ at aalsmeer ( Tanqyou is also not very good ) blending with 2 liters Ethanol... for now I bought 2 jerrycans 20 liter together with a portable fuel pump ( TREP04 Rechargeable Battery Fuel Transfer Pump ) and drive to Emmerich for 102 Aral. This works very good and its also easy to refill my tank

Be careful. Keep an eye on your HPFP. Its struggling a lot in the lower RPM range. Look for HPFP Actual vs Target. You may need to upgrade your pump or scale it back to the 91 octane map. I would send your log to pro tuning freaks. They'd be able to adjust your boost down low that way its not requesting as much fuel.

^ this. I had the same behaviour with my HPFP on the stage 1.0 93+ map. Protuningfreaks support sent me a test map that fixed it but I'm just going to settle with the stage 1 91 map.

Total 98 does the best timing on my b58... but I don't have a Total near where I live so I use BP 98 most of the times. Therefore I run the 91 map because the quality is not right.

Can I run 1-2 liters ethanol on stock pump? And where do I buy this Ethanol, Action?
