BMW Connected Music - down
For the last few days I haven't been able to download new tracks on my car's Connected Music account. Having finally managed to speak to BMW who aren't answering many calls (because Covid of course!), this is a problem at their end affecting all BMWs apparently, which they are trying to resolve.
I wish they had sent an email to subscribers rather than make us chase them... |

This BMW Connected Music service is still down which is getting rather annoying!
If anyone has any more info on this, I’d like to know. |

After a week and a half of BMW's music not working, I phoned Connected Drive and asked them to cancel my subscription and refund. I took it out at a cost of £79 for the year just over a month ago. To my surprise BMW agreed and offered a full refund although it will come via cheque 'because Covid'...
My iDrive 7 has Spotify built in to the car (no need to use the phone), so I have taken a trial subscription to that to see how I get on. Apparently this Spotify app uses the car's inbuilt SIM to access data. Connected Drive is 0800 325 6000 (Option 2) for anyone else who might like to do this... |
