I never used the fogs on my E90, but I love that tinted look from ty666666. Also saves the lenses from stones.
Really wish I thought about that before! |

In the OP's defense, the M Sport Package with the Track Handling Package (ZTR) deletes the fogs for extra cooling. Also, the F8X all don't come with fogs... all for cooling. Those vents are actually functional in the ZTR and the M3/4.

I would keep them, as someone else said, the light the sides of the road where the low beams don't hit, which is awesome if you're on a back road where wildlife is probable.

I have never in my life heard of someone wanting to remove fogs, why make your car look like a base model and install block off plates. Wow.
Don't forget to install the dummy button on the interior too.

Agreed but this is a functional issue as well as cosmetic so I'll play. Keep them! More light = better and they are useful on curvy roads to keep an eye out for ground-level critters, foggy or not.

My car did not come with them and I do not miss them. Personally if I had a choice I would probably have selected a car with fog lights but it is purely a cosmetic issue for me. I have adaptive LED headlights and they project more light than any car I've ever owned, it's insane.

I’ve stopped commenting on functionality since so many people darken headlights and taillights, paint over reflectors, etc,

I also coded my car for variable light distribution (VLD) shortly after I bought my car so I can't recall with certainty what the stock behavior is for US cars straight from the factory. |
