Its pretty much the same on every single car manufacturer. You find yourself a good tuner before you decide on anything, I've been running stage 2 from 2013 with a N20 making 210kws and its still hasn't blown up. . . yet?

Do you mind sharing the hardware you used to make the power with good reliability. I've been on Stage 1 for a few years now with no issues, getting tempted with a tad more power.

What Intercooler and Downpipe are you using? I'm assuming you changed the chargepipe too because of the extra boost? |

N20 BM3 Stage 2 pathway
Hi, fellow Aus N20ers,
I’m running Stage 2 98RON BM3 OTS map and the BM3 transmission map with some significant hardware upgrades as follows: Exhaust: Dual Outlet Resonated Cat Back Brand: Milltek Sport Mfg#: SSXBM961 Intercooler and Downpipe: BMW F-Series N20 EVO2 Competition Catted Package Product Code: 700001043 Also upgraded the charge pipe to an aluminium in lieu of OEM plastic. I’ve been running this setup for approaching 2 years now incl summer track time without issues. Routinely change oil at 5K intervals at dealer for own peace of mind. Also swapped out the runflats and running a near square set up 245f 255r on wider 19” OEM reps shod with Michelin PS4s boots for track time. Much nicer tyres for on the road as well. No issues for me or mine and very happy with the investment in what has proven to be an utterly reliable, quick and good all round sedan. Enjoy your 328i!
