4 series M-perf rear diffuser - paint or not paint the center portion?
So I'm installing the M-performance rear diffuser on my 4 series, and can't decide if I should leave the center portion matte black, or paint it gloss black.....I'll be painting the outside of it to match the color of the car but can't decide on the center. Anyone have any pics of this on their car painted???

on a glacier silver car you could go either way.
ideally i think cars look best when consistent and things flow front to back, top to bottom. so thinking along those lines, the M-sport shadowline trim around the windows is already gloss black. therefore I'd go gloss black in the center of the diffuser. I'd keep everything on the car either glacier silver or gloss black, IMHO. OEM+ look. get rid of any chrome too (grill & badges) |

It's a copy of the F30 M Performance one but with outlets for quad tips. The OEM F32 one is only available in carbon - which I didn't want. I got it from an Aussie distributor. I don't know where you'd get it in the US. |

Just did a google search and it's showing up all over the place now!
I swear that a month or so back when I was looking the only OEM ones I saw were carbon... |

I NEVER SAID IT WAS AN OEM ONE OR THAT THE OEM ONE HAS QUAD OUTLETS. I AM AWARE THAT THE OEM ONE DOES NOT HAVE QUAD OUTLETS. I'M ALSO AWARE THAT BMW ONLY FIT QUAD TIPS TO ///M CARS FROM FACTORY. WERE YOU? I SAID IS WAS A COPY. DID YOU SEE THE WORD "BUT" IN THERE??? I USED THAT WORD TO INDICATE THAT IT VARIED FROM THE OEM ONE IN ONE SIGNIFICANT WAY - SPECIFICALLY THE QUAD OUTLETS. DICTIONARY DEFINITION OF THE WORD: Quote:

Pls. calm down dudes, no car is worth it to shout on each other!
@ Harlequin: What kinda quad tip exhaust do you mounted under your F32 car? Looks like Eisenmann. Im searching for some and consider Supersprint into first row, but not sure at this time. The diffusor could also be ordered by Bastuck, they offer a quad tip exhaust with a matching unpainted one. I would prefer to wrap the center area with carbon foil, thats cheap and quick done - and could be removed very quick when not liking it longer times

My Exhaust is custom with no muffler... 3" 304 Stainless all the way. Proper Quad - no fake tips or 1" connecting pipes for the off-side. And converted to bolt-on. I didn't feel like any of the OTS options gave me what I was looking for... |

Sounds' beyond the lead
If I consider breaking with my whole neighbourhood I stick to the handwelded custom exhaust - but something tells me that the police is coming quickly too. So I have to search on for a street legal exhaust from cat to the rear, unfortunately into Germany your are not allowed to share your passion too loud with the environment

Seems the same like mine
When it is, its Bastuck quad exhaust and diffusor.
